The war between Christ and Satan has been won since the cross, but the forces of evil continue to attack God's people. Going out into the spiritual combat zone unprotected is foolish, which is why Paul counsels us in Eph. 6 to put on the armor of God that will allow us to withstand the diabolical schemes against us.
